About Nessy

Hey, I’m Vanessa (Nessy to the people I love most), and this is why I started Nessy's. 

I started off in the restaurant world and now work as the Operations Manager at The Bro’Kin Yolk. That experience has shaped so much of who I am — I’ve learned how to lead with heart, create real connections, and build something that feels intentional. It’s been a huge part of my growth and played a big role in me starting this next chapter. 

But to be real, before any of that, it was always music. I’ve been singing, playing piano and collecting vinyl since I was a kid. Certain songs make me feel like I’m part of them, like I’m attached to every note.  Music’s always made me feel deeply, and more than anything, it’s shown me how powerful it is at bringing people together. That’s the kind of energy I want to carry into this space.

I’m also the daughter of two Italian immigrants, and coffee has been a part of my life forever. I had my first espresso in kindergarten thanks to my beautiful Nonna. Coffee in our family has always meant connection. It’s how we gather, slow down, and just be with each other.

Starting Nessy’s felt like a natural extension of everything I love — music, community, culture, and the kind of moments that bring people closer. I wanted to build a brand that felt warm, real, and full of soul. Something that hits the way a good song or a great cup of coffee does.
